GOOD
NEWS….well maybe??
You
definitely need an exciting relationship, but that special Someone is
Jesus
Christ!
The
Gospel of Jesus Christ is the Good News, but only to those who can
receive it.
Do you want your doctor to tell you what you want to hear or the truth?
Do you want your child’s teacher to tell you what you hope is true or the truth?
Do you want your financial broker to give you a positive, up-lifting report on your investments or the truth?
THE
TRUTH is: YOU are an incurable sinner with a bad heart, and you are
working
yourself into hell.
Romans 3:10
“As it is written,
There
is none righteous; no, not one:”
Romans 3:23
“For all
have sinned, and come short of the
glory of God.”
Matthew 15:19, 20
“
For out of the heart
proceed evil thoughts,
murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
These
are the things which defile a man:…”
Romans 6:23
“For the wages of sin is death;
but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
You
may enjoy some temporary comfort down here, but when you die,

“And as it

but after this the judgment:”

“And
repayeth them that hate Him to their
face, to destroy them: He will not be slack to him that hateth Him, He
will
repay him to his face.”

You
probably realize that you have broken God’s Holy Laws, but if this is

Romans 3:19

them who are under the law:
that every mouth may be stopped, and all
the world
may become guilty before God.”
James 2:10
“For
whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is
guilty
of all.”
Here is the GOOD
NEWS!!
Almost
2,000 years ago, the Son of God finished His rescue
Mission
His sinless Life as payment for sins. The Romans,
the
Jews, and people like you and I,
were allowed by a Sovereign God to
brutally crucify
the Lord Jesus Christ.
Matthew 27:29-33
“And when they had
platted a
crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right
hand:
and
they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of
the Jews!
And they spit upon him,
and took the reed, and smote him on the head.
And after
that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him,
and put his
own
raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him. And as they came out,
they
found a man of
Cyrene
unto a place called
“And
being found in fashion as a man,
He humbled Himself,
and became obedient unto death, even the death of
the cross.”
This
Divine sacrifice satisfied God’s Holiness, the demands of His Law,
and
actually
paid in full the debt of sin for ALL who truly believe on the LordJesus Christ.
John 3:16
“For God so
loved the world, that He gave His
only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish,
but have
everlasting life.”
Romans 5:8
“But God
commendeth His love toward us, in
that,
while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
Romans 8:1
“There is
therefore now no condemnation to
them which are in Christ Jesus,
who walk not after the flesh, but after
the
Spirit.”
The
GOOD NEWS is that the Lord
Jesus resurrected bodily
out of
the grave after being dead for three days and nights.
Why
is this Good News to
YOU!?
Because now, a living
Saviour can keep His promise.
Matthew 11:27 – 29
“Come unto
me, all
ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Take my
yoke upon
you, and learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly of heart:
and ye
shall find
rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
