Children's Classes
Here are a list of some things we do each week for our precious children:
- God's simple plan of salvation
- A basic understanding of the Old and New Testament
- An understanding of major Bible stories and Heroes of the Faith
- Songs about Christ
- Bible memorization
- How to better obey and respect their parents
- The value of regular church attendance
- Enjoying God's Word and His service
- Memory Work
- Books of the Bible and Scripture
- Singing
- Bible Lessons
- Crafts or activities
- Snacks
Beginners: LeeAnn Gilbertson
Ages: 3 yrs old through kindergarten.
Primaries: Nancy Merrill & Robyn Scrivner
Age: 1st through 2rd grade.
Juniors: Greg and Jenny
Grades: 3rd and 4th grade
Juniors: Jared & Lindsay Ferrell
Grades: 5th and 6th.
Teens: The Ferrell's and The Scicluna's
Grades: 7th - 12th grade.
The Ferrell's and the Scicluna's have a burning desire to see our teens grow spiritually and to see them do great things for God. The teens have monthly activities to help grow their relationship with one another and God in a Christian setting.
Adult Classes
- To clearly challenge the relationship of our adults with Christ - are they truly born again?
- To develop and influence adults to have a servant's heart.
- To teach joy in serving Christ.
- To help each student understand their talent and how it can and should be used for the Lord.
- To create an environment of great fellowship that will encourage adults to do right and honor God.
Activities include:

Singles: Jason & Megan Anacker
S.A.L.T. - Single Adults with a Living Testimony
Morning Star single adults are not looking for their better half. They have already found wholeness in the person of Jesus Christ. This fun group is committed to discovering the whole truth about God's word while growing closer to Jesus. Please join us every Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. for a Sunday School Class that won't shy away from relevant topics and issues confronting today’s Christian single adult.
Young Marrieds: Steve Hall
For newly weds and young marrieds at heart! Looking for a class to receive solid and applicable truths from God's Word to help you with your marriage, children, and your job?
If yes, then Steve Hall's class is for you! Brother Hall provides a jam packed, fun filled, energetic and Biblically sound lesson.
MSBC encourages strong Christian fellowship among believers and uniting those young married couples with others like you.
Once a month the Married class gets together for an activity.
Adults: Gary Niederlehner
Brother Gary is a seasoned Sunday School that will challenge you in your Christian walk. Whether you have been Christian for decades or just a
few months you'll enjoy this practical class that help you grow closer to God.
Adult Women: Janie Ferrell
Christian women living and working in this difficult time have many obstacles to overcome. That is why it is so important that we can lean on and learn from God's Word and each other. Our class took part in an indepth study on prayer which proved to be a blessing. Also, we studied the many lies that this world continually feeds women and how to take a stand against them. I can honestly say that we enjoy each other and our time in God's Book! Susan Hunt said it well, "History is the story of redemption. I am not the main character in the drama of redemption. I am not the main point. But by God's grace, I am a part of it."
